Welcome
In This Update (27 August 2008)
Just a brief update on happenings here at the shop and life in general. I was in town earlier this week and lucky enough to
visit the Art Deco exhibition at the Art Centre. It was truly wonderful and if you love Art Deco you must get there. The
beautiful dresses and sculptures are something else. I just loved it. Also had the opportunity to visit Lumina gallery in
Malvern which was also a delight.

Crafters Weekends
Do you have a group of friends that escape down
to the Mornington Peninsula with you on a regular basis?
At Textile Artistry we can organise
workshops designed specifically for your group's
requirements. Whether it be felting, embroidery, textile
art or mixed media we can find the teacher that
suits your group. Contact us
to discuss the possibilities.
We have lots of new things happening with new artworks for sale and a number of new teachers and groups—all outlined
on our Classes page:
- One to look out for is Pamela's Guidance Group for those who want to catch up socially and get a little help with
their projects, especially unfinished ones that we get stuck on.
- Kay's Felting Mastery workshops are building and we think will
become a regular event.
- Corrie, our new teacher, will astound you with her free machine embroidery, and it's not computer
generated!!
- The Blue Days Group is rocking along and somehow they've convinced us to have them every fortnight. Numbers are
limited so please contact us if you want to come along.
- Numbers are building for Patti Culea's class in March so best get your
name down if you're intending to come along.
There are many more classes happening in the coming months - take a look
for full details. Hope to see you soon.
