Hope this update finds you all fit and well and
gearing up for a busy and productive winter.
I have decided rather than hold off any longer I will let you know about upcoming classes and
dates that are confirmed but some are not yet finalised.
Some of them are off site and therefore there are many more pieces to pull together.

Professional Development for Teachers
Did you know that we are putting together workshops
specifically designed for art and textile teachers?
We hope to have more information on this in the next
little while. If you are a teacher or know of
teachers who may be interested please contact us or
pass our details on. Likewise we would happy to hear from you
regarding specific skill areas you would like to see offered.
Workshops will be skill-based not product-based with the
objective being to extend the skills of the teacher who can
then interpret them accordingly to suit the needs of their
pupils. Learning a new skill delivered with a little
nurture gives a new perspective and enthusiasm. Will be available
in Melbourne and on the Peninsula. Stay posted!
Crafters Weekends
Do you have a group of friends that escape down
to the Mornington Peninsula with you on a regular basis?
At Textile Artistry we can organise
workshops designed specifically for your group's
requirements. Whether it be felting, embroidery, textile
art or mixed media we can find the teacher that
suits your group. Contact us
to discuss the possibilities.
We have just added our latest selection of workshops and for those of
you living in metropolitan Melbourne, you will be pleased to know that we are
holding classes closer to you - check it out and book now!
We are also starting a Spinning Group so if you have a
wheel dust it off and join us.

Pamela Farmer is really upping the ante this year with both repeats (by request) and new classes
(such as Feral Knitting—a half day workshop making a funky scarf with fabric and wool), along with
a guidance group to help you on your creative journey.
Lynn Berry will join the team running scrumbling and embellisher classes.
Carole Redlich and Glenys Hopkins are continuing with classes
Catherine O'Leary will do a two day workshop helping you to
make a felted body wrap.
Robyn is continuing with her doll classes and techniques and Amanda will be working on felting classes with mums and kids.
As with all our workshops please register your interest even if it
is a long way off. We are also happy for people to pay the classes off beforehand if it helps.
Many participants have requested that we provide materials or a kit as sometimes people don't have
the time to find things and some products are difficult to track down. We have taken this on board and
will endeavour to do so whenever possible. Most costs, as they are shared across the number of
participants, will mean it should work out cheaper for you. We will keep the costs as low as possible.
For all our new participants please note that the workroom is a perfume free area.
As with any of our workshops, if the day doesn't suit but you are
interested please let us know. If we have a waiting list and don't
make the numbers we can look at changing the dates, so always
register your interest regardless.
Take a look at our upcoming classes!
Hope to see you soon.
Unleash your Creative Spirit!
