Crafters Weekends
Do you have a group of friends that escape down
to the Mornington Peninsula with you on a regular basis?
At Textile Artistry we can organise
workshops designed specifically for your group's
requirements. Whether it be felting, embroidery, textile
art or mixed media we can find the teacher that
suits your group. Contact us
to discuss the possibilities.
As you will see from the classes list we have
many new and varied classes. We welcome Carole Redlich back and
look forward to learning how to make jewellery and pieces like those she
has on exhibit. I am also looking forward to the recycling class.
Any of you who know me well will know how excited I am to have an opportunity
to show people another method of recycling which is fun and fruitful!
People have been asking for sewing lessons and we are now in a
position to offer them under the wonderful tutelage of Connie Wheeler.
I can vouch for Connie's fabulous skill as she has recently helped me perfect
my new beautiful felt coat. I made it from the prefelt batts (Felbi Wool Batts)
we stock and I am really thrilled with the results. Connie was a
great sounding board and helped me get the fit just right. You too
can learn how to make your own individual designs that meet your creative
need, save you money and most importantly, fit you!
In the next few months both Marilyn Townsend and Fern Bant
will also be sharing their wonderful textile skills with us and our own
favourite Samm Menzies-Browne will resume teaching next
month.
As with any of our workshops if the day doesn't suit but you are
interested please let us know. If we have a waiting list and don't
make the numbers we can look at changing the dates, so always register your
interest regardless.
Take a look at our upcoming classes!
Hope to see you soon.
Unleash your Creative Spirit!
